Why Siargao Island


Siargao Island is not just an ordinary island that is known for surfing. Yes, it is always lined up for one of the best surf spots in the world. Countless of tourists and surfers traveled thousands of miles just to experience  the magical feeling you could possibly have once you’ve witness its beauty.
The island is blessed with so much beauty to offer. You can always start a beautiful day and enjoy the company of warm and friendly locals to fill up your Siargao experience. Nightlife – nightlife in Siargao is fun, you can find some nice hip-hop, reggae, tribal and more kind of music and it is depends how you going to make it more crazier. Nine Bar has some good fun to offer and it’s been around since 2006. It is located outside the small town of General Luna which is owned by two Swedish surfers. Jungle Bar or sometimes the call tattoo bar beach party where they party normally until onto 4/5am. It’s funny that they started to have an entrance fee of P10 pesos.

Diving – Siargao is offering for both beginners and advanced divers to find shallow dive spots without current and for advanced divers to enjoy drift or deep dive spots within the outer reefs of the island. There are more than 15 dive spots to discover in Siargao Island.

Biking – aside from surfing you can also enjoy the fun with an eco-friendly biking trip. Some locals would sometimes love to take a break from surfing and organize a bike ride to Dapa or even around the island. Biking around the island is a thrilling way of getting in close contact with nature in the island. Enjoy the nature, enjoy the people. 



Cave & Lagoons – for a lagoon tour, experience the soothing sceneries of Sugba Lagoon (located in Barangay Caub) a perfect watersport spot and haven for tourists. For P881 per person that includes the land & boat transportation, environmental fees, shed rentals and entrance fees, afternoon snack, bottled water and services of an eco-adventure guide. The deepest part of this crystal-clear natural saltwater pool is about 18 feet deep during low tide and is originally part of Magpupungko Beach. Magpupungko tidal pool and lagoon is an example of a natural infinity pool. Magpupongko is a perfect hideaway where you can see nature at its best. Sohoton Lagoon is another option which has an awesome spot though it is a little far out plus also try the Crystal Cave with Entrance fee is P10 per head. For boating, you have to pay P5.

These are just some of the activities and reasons we should experience Siargao Island. This is another virgin island that you need to spoil yourself and enjoy it at its best.
